Top 5 Summer Essentials
Ensure that your wardrobe is kitted out with the basics to make dressing a breeze this summer.

Here comes the summer sun… and with it, a shake-up to your day-to-day dressing. Get these essentials in your cupboard and be prepared for any occasion.
1. Relaxed shorts
Loosen things up in relaxed shorts that are comfortable to wear in the heat but don’t equate to overly casual. This season sees the return of linen shorts, smart shorts and ‘90s-style denim shorts – and we’re here for it. Pair with a relaxed-fit tee for brunch with the boys or a day-time outing and smarten things up with a printed shirt for sundowners or a casual dinner beside the seaside.
2. Relaxed-fit tee
A relaxed-fit Tee is a non-negotiable summer staple. Throw it on with anything – your relaxed shorts, your chinos or your jeans. Stock up with at least three to five to easily get you through the week without having to worry about laundry: a black tee, a white tee and a few colours of your choice, then you’re good to go!
3. Printed shirts
The summer printed shirt should bring to mind good vibes and good times – think palm-leaf prints, geometric patterns and everything in between. A feel-good wardrobe item, the printed shirt is ideal for a chilled night on the town or a smart-casual outing that warrants something a little more dressy than a tee.
4. Golfers
Collared golfers will take your look from so-so to slick, casual to cool, party to preppy. Pair with smart shorts or pants in the same shade for a modern monotone take or mix things up by pairing with an unexpected palette and accessories. Our textured and ribbed-knit golfers come in a regular fit with a buttonless open collar for an authentic retro feel.
5. Suits
Everyone needs a suit for the season. Whether it’s classic black or never-out-of-fashion navy, neutral and nude or playful pastel, a stylish suit or two will see you through the summer (and beyond). As the mercury rises, and outdoor events increase, a stylish suit in a lightweight fabric is extremely appealing – linen and viscose-rich blends are great options as the fabrics are thin and breathable.
With your new-season wardrobe sorted you can sit back and relax, ready for the event invites to roll in and the summer holidays to begin.
